On 26/12/2007 at 2045 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Mobile Phone and other documents belonging to one Praveen Kumar (44) R/o Kadri Mangalore which was kept inside the KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-07-F-1231 that was parked in the premise of KSRTC bus stand at Mangalore. The stolen property is worth Rs. 8,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 25/12/2007 at 1600 hrs on NH-48 at Gundya cross Shirady village Puttur Taluk one Vinaya C. driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-23-N-1155 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Maruti Omni car capsized. As a result Mohan Kumar Y.S (47) R/o Ujjayini Chitradurga District who was traveling in the said Maruti Omni car sustained simple injuries.

On 26/12/2006 at 1130 hrs one Ningayya (45) accidentally fell down while working at Vivek Nagara Panjimogaru Mangalore. He was admitted to A.J .hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1230 hrs. The death seems to be due some illness.
