In between 15/12/2007 at 2330 hrs and 16/12/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Yamaha motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-893 belonging to one Ranganatha (53) R/o Kodialbail Mangalore that was parked in the premise of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs.10, 000 /.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 15/12/2007 in between 0100 hrs and 0400 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor Plus motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-7400 belonging to one Srikara Bhat (32) R/o Subramanya village Sullia Taluk that was parked in the premise of the Sri Vanadurga Temple Temple. The motorcycle is worth Rs.20, 000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 18/12/2007 at 1945 hrs at Kankanady Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-9905 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-6836 driven by one Roopa Rodrigo’s R/o Kadri Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualty reported.

On 17/12/2007 at 1830 hrs on NH 17 at Jappiana Mogeru Mangalore one Jaison D’Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6625 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Raviraj (17) R/o Santhosh Nagara Munnuru village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian caused him simple injuries.

No. KA-19-C-5427 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1064. As a result Mohammed Mustafa (18) R/o Kallaje Belma village Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle and Sahul Hameed pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

As a result one Kashmir D’Souza rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppianangady Police Station. On 16/12/2007 at 2230 hrs at Periyashanthi Ichlampady village Puttur Taluk one Mahaveera driver of Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-31-M-3287 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tata Sumo capsized. As a result Raghavendra Nayak (25) R/o Neharunagara Uttara Kannada District and other 5 persons who were traveling in the said Tata Sumo sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 18/12/2007 at 0915 hrs one Sachin R/o Bolpugudde Kavoor Mangalore committed suicide by jumping into a well near his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. In between 13/10/2007 at 1500 hrs and 18/12/2007 at 0800 hrs one Honnappa Poojary (31) R/o Valthaje Bilinele village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by jumping into a well near his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 08/12/2007 at 2000 hrs one Geetha (24) R/o Janthigoli Kokrady village Puttur Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light a kerosene lamp in her house. She was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore and there while under treatment she succumbed to her injuries on 17/12/2007 at 1600 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 18/12/2007 at 1400 hrs one unknown dead body aged about 25 yrs to 30 hrs was found in Kumaradara River at Veeramangila Shanthigod village Puttur Taluk. It seems to a case of drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station.
