- A case under Burglary has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station on the complaint of one Lawrence Periera (78) R/o Ajjibettu Karinje village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that one Jagga Shetty R/o Tharipadpu village Mangalore Taluk gained entry into the his house and committed theft of gold ornaments in the month of Sepetmber 2007. The stolen property is worth Rs. 24,000

On 15/12/2007 at 1815 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a gold ornaments which was kept inside the car belonging to one Sanjaya Denjeeth Fernandez R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore that was parked in the premises of Khazana Jewellery at Balmatta Mangalore. The stolen property is worth Rs. 43,000/.
- A case of Ordinary theft has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On the night of 12/12/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of Aluminum and Brass spare parts of Electricity Transformer belonging to Mescom Mulki Mangalore that was kept at Kolnadu Karnadu village Mangalore. The total worth of stolen property is about Rs. 45,000/.

No. KA-19-K-2003 belonging to one Rajesh R/o Jeppu Market Mangalore that was parked in fornt of Central Market main gate at Mangalore. The Kinetic Honda scooter is worth Rs. 8,000/.

On 14/12/2007 at 2200 hrs accused Manjunatha, Ashoka, Deepak and Gangamma criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Hajira W/o Husainabba R/o Moodushedde Mangalore and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her and her son Faizal by hand owing to trivial issue.
- A case under House trespass, Mischief of causing damage along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 14/12/2007 at 2130 hrs accused Hajira and her son Faizal criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Gangamma R/o Moodushedde Mangalore and abused her in filthy language and damaged her house by pelting stone owing to trivial issue.

On 14/12/2007 at 2100 hrs accused Nakra Poojary (65), Vasantha Poojary (35), Chandu (50), Vanitha (30) Sathisha (25) and Sathish Karkera criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Dharnamma (55) W/o Nemu Poojary R/o Palakala Puttige village Mangalore Taluk and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand. They also assaulted her son Raghava by hand who was came to help Dharnamma and also gave life threat to them owing to family dispute.

No. KA-19-B-1946 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle. As a result motorcycle rider one Santhosh Kumar (21) R/o Attavara Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 15/12/2007 at 1900 hrs at Bunts Hostel Mangalore one Abdul Rahiman driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5256 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-2328 driven by one Lancy Let Pinto R/o Padil Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/12/2007 at 1045 hrs at Gandhipark Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk one Balakrishna driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9963 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Kaviraj (34) R/o Gundya Herebandady village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/12/2007 at 2000 hrs on SH 88 at Sullia Town one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-44-482 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9205. As a result Chandrashekara R/o CRC Colony Sullia Taluk driver of auto rickshaw, Suresh and Sathyajith who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 14/12/2007 at 1800 hrs one Shruthi (10) R/o Pade Ikala village Mangalore Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light a Kerosene stove at her house and she was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 14/12/2007 at 2300 hrs.
