- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 21/12/2007 in between at 1330 hrs and 1400 hrs one Sridhara (25) R/o Ambatte Bailu Koila village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into a pond near his house while taking bath and died of drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On the night of 18/12/2007 one Shina Sapalya (60) R/o Kodangayi Vittalpadnoor village Bantwal Taluk attempted to commit suicide by poring Kerosene by himself in his house and sustained serious burn injuries owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 20/12/2007 at 2000 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police station. On 20/12/2007 at 1900 hrs one Annappa Naik (69) R/o Gowri Moole Puncha village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing health problem.

On 21/12/2007 at 1100 hrs one Puttanna (55) R/o Kodikaje Subramanya village Belthangady Taluk accidentally fell down from the arecanut tree while removing arecanut at Agolikaje Subramanya village Belthangady Taluk and got seriously injuries and died on the spot.
