- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Jameela (21) R/o Konaje Belma village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Usman (29) (husband) and his relatives Aboobakkar @ Puttunhi (65), Nafisa (52) and Sumayya (24) gave physical and mental harassment to Jameela to bring more dowry and they also assaulted her by hand.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 08/12/2007 at 1945 hrs at Basavakaj Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8012 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sanjay Martin (35) R/o Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/12/2007 at 2355 hrs at Ujere Belthangady Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-20-7469 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result driver of auto rickshaw and Ravindra (28) R/o Parkala Irga village Udupi District who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal breach of trust and Cheating has been registered in Panambur Police Station where in accused Sheik Abdul Gafur owner of lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-04-DD-6193, Sheik Muqdam driver of said lorry and Husain Baikampady Manager of M/s Mangalore Jodpura Trasnports committed criminal breach of trust to one Devadas Gatti B. R/o Bolor Mangalore who had given contract to the accused to transport Vanaspathi oil (9,000 Lits) from M/s Rajashree Packagers at Mangalore to Gajanana Oil product in Maharastra on 20/11/2007. The accused persons cheated Devadas Gatti and M/s Rajashree Packagers without supplying the material to the concerned Factory.

Unnatural Death Report: 02
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 11/12/2007 at 0730 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 45 yrs to 50 yrs was found near Nethravathi Snanagatta at Dharmasthala village Belthangadt Taluk. It seems to be a case of suicide by hanging.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On the night of 10/12/2007 one Shukla (42) R/o Kabaka village Puttur Taluk was fell down near his house due to heavy drunkenness. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Puttur where he declared dead while under treatment on 11/12/2007 at 1330 hrs.
