- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On the intervening night of 29-30/12/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Ismail (36) R/o Kattattharu Keyyuru village Puttur Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of three watches, cash Rs. 4,000 and gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 16,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 30/12/2007 at 1730 hrs on Belman-Moodabidre road at B.T. road Kadandale village Mangalore Taluk one Joseph rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-984 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Santhan Sequera (55) a pedestian and caused him serious injuries. He was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 2130 hrs. The motorcycle rider Joseph and Raju pillion rider of said motorcycle also sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 30/12/2007 at 1445 on SH at Arambooru Aletty village Sullia Taluk one Suresh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-2462 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5666. As a result Suresh motorcycle rider and Dinesh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and they succumbed to their injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 30/12/2007 at 1000 hrs at Lalbhag Mangalore one Shivakumar driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9453 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2061 driven by one Ambaraya K.H R/o Alagunda Gulbarga. As a result some passenger who were traveling in the said KSRTC bus sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 30/12/2007 at 1445 hrs at Maradka Mannabettu village Mangalore Taluk one Mohan Kumar driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-02-AA-7127 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Mahindra Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-30-2052. As a result one Sharada (27) R/o Bhatkal Taluk Uttara Kannada District who was traveling in the said Mahindra tempo sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 29/12/2007 at 0930 hrs at Janthigoli Belthangady Taluk one Mahaveera Jain driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-9596 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a new motorcycle. As a result Sukumar Shetty motorcycle rider and Umesha Moolya pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 30/12/2007 at 1630 hrs at Parpunja Volamogaru village Puttur Taluk one Abdul Khader driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7739 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a jeep bearing Reg.No. KA-12-3037. As a result Fowziya (20) R/o Keyyuru village Puttur Taluk and Sansina who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 29/12/2007 at 2300 hrs accused Ranadeep, Sandeep, Venkatesha and other three persons forming into an unlawful assembly at the premise of Bombay Lucky Hotel at Golikatte Mangalore abused one Hemanth R/o Kadri Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him with cold drink bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
