No. KA-19-ME-949 belonging to one Prasiddha P. (37) R/o Kulai Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the premise of his house. The car is worth Rs. 3,62,000/.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On the intervening night of 09-10/12/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-5276 belonging to one Abdul Rasheed (24) R/o Kudthamugeru Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk that was parked near his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

No. KA-19-U-3176 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sundara Poojary (55) R/o Bejai Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 10/12/2007 at 1400 hrs on NH 17 at Bangrakulur village Mangalore Taluk one Ravi Shetty driver of Trax vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-2186 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8807. As a result Trax vehicle driver Ravi Shetty, auto rickshaw driver Ishwar, Asif, Prakash and Padma Kumar who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

As a result Vishwanatha Gowda (39) R/o Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk motorcycle rider and Narayana Gowda pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 10/12/2007 at 0730 hrs near Annappa Temple gate at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one driver of Milk van bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-3618 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lakshminarayana M.N. (66) R/o Dondole Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 10/12/2007 at 0820 hrs at Kudumbadka Hosangady village Belthangady Taluk one Jaya Poojary driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5874 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Ananda Bangera who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Karnatka Excise Act has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 10/12/2007 at 2015 hrs on credible information PSI Panambur PS along with staff conducted a raid on petty shop at Kudumbur Baikampady Mangalore and seized 24 liquor bottles (each 180 ml) by arresting owner of the shop one Ravi R/o Kudumbur Baikampady village Mangalore who was selling these liquor bottle illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 10/12/2007 at 1415 hrs one Sheena Naik (70) R/o Kadlakere Puttige village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 10/12/2007 in between 1000 hrs and 1330 hrs one Siddhu (55) R/o Gantalkatte Kallabettu Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 05/12/2007 at 1600 hrs one Revathi (24) R/o Bolanthimugeru Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison owing to personal problem and she was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she declared dead while under treatment on 10/12/2007 at 1400 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 10/12/2007 at 1500 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 48 years was found near Radhika Plaza at Puttur Town. The death seems to be due to some illness.
