- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 24/11/2007 at 1900 hrs and 26/11/2007 at 0930 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Yamaha motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-8994 belonging to one Sudheer U. (26) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk that was parked at the premise of Amezon Distributors Pvt Ltd near Kadri Kambala at Mangalore. The Yamaha motorcycle worth Rs. 10,000/.

- A case under Rioting, Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 22/12/2007 at 0900 hrs accused Abdul Kunhi, Asif, Sadiq, Ismail and Abdul Salam criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Asiamma (35) R/o Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk and abused her in filthy language and also assaulted her with wooden stick. They also assaulted Assiya with wooden stick who came to help Asiamma owing to previous enmity.
- A case under Cruelty by husband along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Premalatha (39) W/o Bharath Poojary R/o Narimogru village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Bharath Poojary (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to Premalatha to bring more dowry and he also assaulted her by hand.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 22/12/2007 at 1245 hrs on NH 13 at Parari Thiruvailu village Mangalore Taluk one Durga Prasad driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-2727 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle. As a result motorcycle rider Dinesh sustained serious injuries and died on the spot and pillion rider Nanda Kishore (26) R/o Badaga Ulipady village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/12/2007 at 0930 hrs at Rao & Rao circle Mangalore one driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8655 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mutthappa Gowda R/o Narimogru village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 21/12/2007 at 0930 hrs near Bunts hostel at Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9039 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-971. Further rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9039 lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a car bearing reg. No. KA-19-MD-4289 driven by one Mohammed Ashraf (28) R/o Talippady Bantwal Taluk. As a result riders of both motorcycles sustained simple injures. The car also got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 22/12/2007 at 1130 hrs at Melina pete Venoor village Belthangady Taluk one driver of mini Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-10-6190 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1510. As a result one Lakshmana Moolya (33) R/o Mudukodi village Belthangady Taluk driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 21/12/2007 at 1930 hrs at Manjalapadpu Kabaka village Puttur Taluk one Umesha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-7767 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MYX- 3693. As a result Uday Kumar (32) R/o Padnur village Puttur Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MYX-3693 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 21/12/207 at 0815 at Bedrodi Bajathur village Putttur Taluk one Abubakkar driver of Car bearing reg. No. KA-21-M-6260 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-12-3378. As a result Yaqoob U (21) R/o Nelyadi village Puttur Taluk driver of said jeep, Kabeer, Baba Saheb and Raghava who were traveling in the said Jeep sustained simple injuries.

Plywood factory at Melkar Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 21/12/2007 at 1815 hrs at Melkar Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk accused Monu and other two persons assaulted one Basheer K (32) R/o Balthila village Bantwal Taluk with soda bottle owing to trivial issue.
