- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 26/12/2007 at 1900 hrs and 27/12/2007 at 1830 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Melkan Refrijaration sales and services shop at Tharethota Mangalore belonging to one Melwyn D’ Souza by removing the Air-condition ventilator grills and committed theft of a Air-condition and other accessories all in worth Rs. 20,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station where in one Mohammed has been declared dead while under treatment on 27/12/2007 at 0600 hrs. The said Mohammed was seriously injured by an auto rickshaw in a road traffic accident on 10/11/2007 at 0730 hrs at Marnabail Munoor village Bantwal Taluk and admitted to the Highland Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Bantwal Town Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/12/2007 at 1930 hrs at Bunts Hostel Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-3899 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8839. As a result Abubakkar U.A. (45) R/o Kotekar Mangalore rider of motorcycle and Maimuna pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/12/2007 at 2200 hrs at Thaudugoli cross Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk one Keshava driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4651 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5382. As a result one Sukanya (24) R/o Nekkaraje Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk and some other passengers who were traveling in the both buses sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 17/12/2007 at 1650 hrs at Beluvai Moodabidre Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-U-4441 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Anushri (10) R/o Kesarugadde Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/12/2007 at 2100 hrs near Sathyanarayanakatte at Karinje village Mangalore Taluk one Ashraf rider of Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1853 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which Activa Honda scooter capsized. As a result one Bhakti Prasad Thauro pillion rider of said Activa Honda scooter sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 23/12/2007 at 1830 hrs at Uppira Yeliyanagoodu village Bantwal Taluk one Ravi driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-7939 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sadhashiva (25) R/o Kanagila Yeliyanagoodu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 27/12/2007 at 1200 hrs accused Usman, Charlse Sharif, Cheyya Monu and others forming into an unlawful assembly at Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and abused one Zaheer (23) R/o Agrahara Mysore District, Wajid and Ashraf in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with iron rod and also gave life threat to them owing to financial dispute.

In between 23/12/2007 at 1130 hrs and 24/12/2007 at 0500 hrs one Seetharama Bhat (84) R/o Alikude Macchina village Belthangady Taluk went out from his house and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Arjun G. (16) S/o Gopinatha K.P. (48) R/o Bollubailu Jalsur village Sullia Taluk left his house on 25/12/2007 at 1500 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
