• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 04/12/2007 at 1130 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a TVS Victor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-1572 belonging to one Devadas Kamath (45) R/o Chaithanya Apartment Kambala cross Mangalore that was parked in the premise of Canara Bank at Ganhinagara Mannagudde Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

• A case under Cruelty by husband and relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Urwa Police Station on the complaint of one Anusha (28) W/o Chandrahasa R/o Jokatte village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Chandrahasa (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to Anusha to bring more dowry.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 05/12/2007 at 1120 hrs on NH-17 at Panambur Mangalore one unknown driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9334 drove his vehicle in backward direction in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shivarama K. (59) R/o Kattittharu Puttur Town a pedestrian caused him simple injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 07/12/2007 at 0830 hrs on NH 17 at Surathkal Mangalore one Prakasha driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-51-N-6219 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-1337. As a result rider of motorcycle Pushpananda (29) R/o Biliyuru village Bantwal Taluk and pillion rider of said motorcycle Shiva Kumar sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 06/12/2007 at 1830 hrs on Kaduru - Bantwal road Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk one Ramanna driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5743 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tanker capsized. As a result one Ramanna driver of said Tanker sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangandy Police Station. On 06/12/2007 at 0810 hrs on Koyyuru - Belthangady road at Kanthaje Koyyuru village Belthangady Taluk one Yellayya driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1951 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which Mohammed Mansoor (17) R/o Koyyuru village Belthangady Taluk, Sunil (15), and Thomas (49) who were traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 06/12/2007 at 1755 hrs in front of Mega Glass at Puttur Town one Jayarama rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-6863 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jaganantha (59) R/o Kowdichar Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian caused him simple injuries.

• A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 06/12/2007 at 2000 hrs accused Basappa, Janardhana and Hemalatha criminally restrained one Nithyananda (40) R/o Hosagadde Kolcharu Aletti village Sullia Taluk near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to civil dispute.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, along with Criminal intimidation has been registered Moodabidre Police Station. On 05/12/2007 at 2100 hrs accused Somayya @ Ravi R/o Dharkasu Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk abused one Sanjeeva (44) R/o Dharkasu Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 06/12/2007 in between 1700 hrs and 1800 hrs one Karmin Rodrigo’s (70) R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping in to the well near her house owing to health problem.
