- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 01/08/2008 at 1600 hrs near Nanthoor junction at Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-7553 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Kishan Kumar (14) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 01/08/2008 at 0730 hrs at Valencia Mangalore one rider of Active Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2412 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sushma Jasmin (19) R/o Monkeystand Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 30/07/2008 at 2000 hrs on Nethravathi Bridge at Jappina Mogaru village Mangalore Taluk one Balakrishna driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-3999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Mahendra Pick up vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-185 due which Mahendra Pick up vehicle moved ahead and dashed against a Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-6424. As a result all three vehicle got damaged and no casualty reported.

On 01/08/2008 at 1230 hrs near Karunya English medium school at Thotathady village Belthangady Taluk one Shyam Verges rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-8183 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-7497. As a result Shyam Verges rider of motorcyle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-8183 and Charlie rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-7497 and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
