• A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 15/08/2008 at 2300 hrs accused Keshawa Gowda and Nayaz committed theft 200 coconuts from Kochakatte Perabe village Puttur Taluk belonging to one Ashraf (36) R/o Kochakatte Perabe village Puttur Taluk which was kept in his premise. The worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/08/2008 at 1230 hrs at Kukkudakatte Muluru village Mangalore Taluk one Yunus driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-4761 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mahammad Asif (26) R/o Banglagudde Muluru village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 16/08/2008 at 1745 hrs at Kaikamba junction Mangalore one Ismail driver of Travera car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4944 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2062. As a result one Mahammad Anwar (24) R/o Kuppepadavu Kelinjaru village Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle and one Walter Cutinho pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 20/07/2008 at 0515 hrs at Surathkal junction Idya village Mangalore Taluk one Riyaz driver of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-8376 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mansoor (28) R/o Thokuru Haleyangadi village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 15/08/2008 at 1030 hrs at Valalambe Gutthigaru village Sullia Taluk one driver of Maxi Cab bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5024 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-F-8944. As a result one Kishore Kumar (27) R/o Kasaragod Kerala State driver of Omni car, Unnikrishnan and Mahalingeshwara Bhat who were traveling in the said Omni car sustained grievous injuries.

On 15/08/2008 at 2130 hrs accused Madhan, Sunil, Prashant, Shrikanth, Shushanth and others forming into an unlawful assembly near NMPT circle at Panambur Mangalore criminally restrained one Yashwanth Karkera (38) R/o Ashoknagar Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 16/08/2008 at 1800 hrs accused Dawood, Hakim and Hakim criminally restrained one Amir Suhail R/o Ammemar Pudu village Bantwal Taluk near Zam Zam press at Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 15/08/2008 at 1930 hrs accused Kamalaksha and Rajesh came in two motorcycles and criminally stopped a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-7036 driven by one Vivek Sharon Kuthina (20) R/o Kalpane Thenkabelluru village Bantwal Taluk at Kalpane Kallige village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Woman missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. One Sushilamma (70) R/o Velankani Towers Panjmogru Mangalore left her house on 11/08/2008 and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
  

• A case of Woman missing has been registered in Vittal Police Station. One Chandravathi (30) R/o Paleri Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk left her house on 16/08/2008 at 0630 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
