On the intervening night of 12-13/08/2008 near Monkey stand at Mangalore Ashraf (22) and Sharifulla both are R/o Murshidabad West Bengal State sustained serious injuries and died on the spot when the mud wall, where they were sleeping accidentally collapsed over them.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 13/08/2007 at 0915 hrs one unknown female dead body aged about 40 yrs to 45 yrs was found at Sea shore at Thota Bengare Panambur Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 13/08/2008 at 1015 hrs one Umesha Acharya (60) R/o Janatha Colony Manila village Bantwal Taluk accidentally slipped into a well near his house while taking water from the well and died due to drowning.
