On 29/08/2008 at 0900 hrs accused one Ibrahim abused one Rakshitha (14) D/o Krishna R/o Asaigole Konaje village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near her house and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/08/2008 at 2000 hrs near Laxminarayana Hall at Yemmekere Mangalore one rider of Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7766 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Chandra Mohan (43) R/o Bhavanthi Street Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 28/08/2008 at 1815 hrs near Sangeetha Stores at Bendorewell Mangalore one Rama driver of Ambulance vehicle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-5494 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-8586. As a result scooter rider Ramaprasad B. and Sadashiva (52) R/o Atthavara Mangalore pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 29/08/2008 at 0900 hrs one dead body of Rajesh (30) R/o Padekallu Bolara Mangalore was found at Palguni river Current Gudde Mangalore. The death seems to be due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 14/08/2008 at 0530 hrs one Saroja (18) R/o Koorikatte Baikampady Mangalore accidentally got serious burn injuries while lighting a kerosene lamp in her house and she was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 29/08/2008 at 1125 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 29/08/2008 at 0200 hrs one Gangadhara (24) committed suicide by jumping into the well at Thantapady Kalanja village Sullia Taluk owing to personal problem.
