- A case of Burglary has registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 21/08/2007 at 2200 hrs and 22/08/2007 at 0930 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sanketh Jewell works at Deralakatte Belma village Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Poornesh Acharya (24) R/o Pandith house Munnur village Mangalore Taluk by removing roof tiles and committed theft of gold and silver ornaments all in worth Rs. 24,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On the night of 21/08/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the DKZPH school at Sabaluru Koyla village Puttur Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of 5 Gas Cylinder belonging to Akshara Dasoha Yojane. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 7, 000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station where in one Sudhakar Poojary (25) R/o Amai Panjikallu village Bantwal Taluk declared dead while under treatment on 23/08/2008 at 0715 hrs. The said Sudhakar Poojary was sustained serious injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 16/08/2008 at 1400 hrs at Daddalakadu Moodanadugodu village Bantwal Taluk and was admitted to the hospital. In this connection a case has already been registered in Bantwal Raural Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 22/08/2008 at 0845 hrs on NH 17 near NMPT main gate at Panambur Mangalore one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9497 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8311. As a result rider of motorcycle one Ashok (27) R/o Thokuru Jokatte village Mangalore Taluk and one Ravi pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 21/08/2008 at 2230 hrs on NH 17 near Deepak Petrol pump at Panambur Mangalore one Poovappa driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9864 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sudhakar (55) R/o Kankanady Pumpwell Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 22/08/2008 at 1745 hrs near old bus stand at Sullia Town one Ubaradka Umesh driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-C-7227 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Cheluvaraj (52) R/o Medinadka Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 22/08/2007 at 1930 hrs accused Ishwar, Santhu and Vijaya abused one Sundara (28) R/o Subhashnagara Sajipa village Bantwat Taluk in filthy language at Pelathakatte Sajipa village Batwal Taluk and assaulted him by hand and with coconut owing trivial issue.
- A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Belthanagady Police Station. On 21/08/2008 at 0530 hrs accused Mahammad and Hamsa criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Abdul Rahiman K.M (40) R/o Kajuru Malavanthige village Belthangady Taluk and abused him and his wife in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with wooden stick owing to previous enmity.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 19/08/2008 one Sundara Moolya (52) R/o Mardholi Narikombu village village Puttur Taluk was accidentally fell due to heavy drunkenness. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 22/08/2008 at 1615 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 22/08/2008 at 1200 hrs one dead body of Shivananda Gowda (55) R/o Kokkada village Puttur Taluk was found at near Kapila-Nethravathi river basin at Maniyuru Patrame village Puttur Taluk. The death seems to be a case of suicide.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 22/05/2008 at 1630 one Shekhara (30) R/o Kallajadka Subramanya village Sullia Taluk accidentally fell down due some illness in Servo Farm at Subramanya village and died on the spot. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 22/08/2008 at 0930 hrs one Sunitha (17) R/o Nagrimoole Veerakamba village Bantwal Taluk went out and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
