On 04/08/2008 at 1330 hrs PSI Moodabidre PS along with his staff on credible information intercepted a 407 Tempo vehicle bearing Reg. No. CTX-6200 at Tajamahal Karinje village Mangalore Taluk and seized 30 wooden logs that were being transported illegally by arresting Jorum Crastha (46) R/o Thakode village Mangalore Taluk, Harish (26) R/o Moodukonaje village Mangalore Taluk and Napoori (56) R/o Thakode village Mangalore Taluk. The 407 Tempo has also been seized.
The total value of property seized is worth Rs. 1,30,000/.
In this connection, a case has been registered in Moodabidre PS under the Karnataka Forest Act.
