On 27/08/2008 at 0740 hrs on cridible information PSI (Crime) Bantwal Town PS along with staff conducted raid at Ponnodi Bantwal Taluk and seized a Sachet manufacturing machine and 400 sachets of arrack. On seeing the police team, accused two unknown personas who were managed to escape from the place.
Total worth of porpetry seized is Rs। 60,000/.
In this connection, a case has been registered in Bantwal Town PS under Karnataka Excise Act.
