In between 22/08/2008 and 28/08/2008 some unknown gained entry into the building at Salethoour Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of tyre and other parts of TVS Appachi motorcycle that was parked inside the building. The stolen property is worth Rs. 20, 000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 27/08/2008 in between 1600 hrs and 2200 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulser motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6045 belonging to one Pavan K. R. (22) R/o Kunjathabail Kavoor Mangalore that was parked near Reliance Photo Print shotp at Bejai Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.

On 29/08/2008 at 1030 hrs accused Thomas Rebello R/o Shiradi village Puttur Taluk abused one Thresiyamma (53) R/o Kodayi Shiradi village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near her house and assaulted her by wooden stick and also gave life threat to her owing to previous enmity.

On 30/08/2008 at 1530 hrs at Bejai Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Siddantha R/o Kotekaru Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 31/08/2008 at 0030 hrs at Nanthoor Padavu Mangalore one Chandrashekara driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-6129 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-7476. As a result Preetham Pinto (21) R/o Kannur Mangalore motorcycle rider and Sharath Kumar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 30/08/2008 at 0700 hrs near RTO Checkpost at Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Nagaraj driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MEU-8431 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-33. As a result Latheesh motorcycle rider, Nagesh (42) R/o Talapady village Mangalore and his son Jeethesh pillion riders of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Somappa (85) R/o Bagambila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 21/08/2008 at 1000 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has beeen found missing since then.
