• A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 02-03/02/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Ranjan Plantation at Ambroli Indabettu village Belthangady Taluk belonging to one Balakrishna Gowda K. R/o Ujire village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the gate lock and committed theft of Rubber Sheets. Total worth of property stolen is around Rs. 49000/.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 02/02/2008 at 1845 hrs accused Chandra and his wife Nalini abused one Sundari W/o Babu Naik R/o Kumbarakeri Devachalla village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted her with wooden stick near her house. The motive seems to be to civil dispute between them.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/02/2008 at 2330 hrs in front of Unity Hospital at Falnir road Mangalore one Tharanatha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-665 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Tharanatha rider of motorcycle and Sadashiva G. pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/02/2008 at 2100 hrs at Kodral Shakthinagara Padavu village Mangalore Taluk one Umesha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-581 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bicycle. As a result Likith (11) rider of Bicycle and Umesha rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 03/02/2008 at 1130 hrs at Bairykallu Kanyana village Bantwal Taluk one Abdul Nasir driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-G-3370 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-15-K-4886. As a result Shrivathsa (32) R/o Moodabidre rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 03/02/2008 at 1945 hrs on Uppinangady- Subramanya cross road at Uppinangady Town one Lakshman driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3658 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-270 driven by one Ramanna Gowda (31) R/o Shirady village Puttur Taluk. As a result auto rickshaw got damaged. No causalities reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 03/02/2008 at 0530 hrs at Periyashanthi Koukrady village Puttur Taluk one Ramesh driver of Quails car bearing Reg. No. KA-12-M-409 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which Quails car capsized. As a result Sunitha (48) R/o Vatalanagara Mysore District and other 4 passengers who were traveling in the said Quails car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 03/02/2008 at 1215 hrs on Puttur By-pass road at Puttur Town one Narendra driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9687 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-N-4475. As a result Sham Prasad (34) R/o Neharunagara Puttur Town driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-N-4475 sustained grievous injuries.

On 02/02/2008 at 1400 hrs at Nadugallu Nalkoor village Belthangady Taluk one Nemichandra driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-N-2256 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Chethan U. S. (15) R/o Uthrambe Nalkoor village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 03/02/2008 at 1545 one Jameela (23) R/o Suralpady Malali village Mangalore Taluk attempted to commit suicide by jumping into the well at Gadipalke Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk owing to personal problem. Further Jameela was admitted to PHC at Bantwal where she declared dead while under treatment on same day.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Srikanth (32) R/o Dongarakeri Mangalore left his house on 31/01/2008 at 1100 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
