- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 10/02/2008 at 2230 hrs and 11/02/2008 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2815 belonging to one Mohammed Hasainar (35) R/o Uchila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the premises of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 45,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 10/02/2008 at 2015 hrs at Baikampady Mangalore one Shamshuddin driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1070 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3037. As a result motorcycle rider Bhaskara Nayak (35) R/o Hosabettu Kulai village Mangalore Taluk and Padmanabha Shetty pillion of rider said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 11/12/2008 at 1530 hrs at Batte Kutruppady village Puttur Taluk one Srinivas driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6614 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Janardhana who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/02/2008 at 1930 hrs at Sullia Town one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-2191 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Balakrishna (55) R/o Shanthinagara Sullia Town a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

- A case under Seizure of Stolen property has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 13/02/2008 at 0230 hrs ASI Uppinangady PS along with staff apprehended Sammad (35) R/o Shanthibettu Nelyady village Puttur Taluk and Kumar K. (39) R/o Kearla State who were found moving suspiciously in an auto rickshaw near Nekkilady old bridge at Nekkilady village Puttur Taluk. On enquiry it was learnt that the auto rickshaw has been stolen somewhere else. Accordingly a case was registered in Uppinangady PS and the auto rickshaw was seized. The seized auto rickshaw is worth Rs. 50,000/.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 12/02/2008 at 0830 hrs and 13/02/2008 at 1600 hrs one Vishwanatha Poojary (38) R/o Yedurupadavu Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the Palguni river at Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk while taking bath and died due to drowning.
