• A case of outranging the modesty of women along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in the Mangalore South Police. On 05/02/2008 at 1930 hrs near Roshani Nilaya College at Valencia Mangalore accused one Amith (23) R/o Kavoor Mangalore abused one Wilma Namitha (22) R/o Navoor village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand.
  
• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with intending to insult the modesty of woman (sec 509 IPC) has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 02/02/2008 at 1400 hrs at DKZP School Ground Kunthor village Puttur Taluk accused one Ravoof abused one Sushma (08) D/o Subramanya Bhat R/o Kunthor village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and tried to insult her modesty and also gave life threat to her.
  
• A case under Cruelty by husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station on the complaint of one Jayashree (28) W/o Shekara Gowda R/o Kanadagudde Koila village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Shekara Gowda (38) (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to Jayashree owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 05/02/2008 at 1100 hrs near Highland hospital at Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-207 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1110 driven by one Sudhakara (22) R/o Siddakatte Bantwal Town. As a result Isamma who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 04/02/2008 at 1400 hrs on NH 48 at Kannur village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Iqbal rider of Active Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-3284 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-1565. As a result Hamza (25) R/o Bajal Mangalore motorcycle rider and Abdul Razak (29) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 01/02/2008 at 0030 hrs on NH 17 at Ujjodi Mangalore one Henry rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1329 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result one Oswald D’ Souza (26) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of the said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 02/02/2008 at 2030 hrs near Bajpe Check Post at Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nagesh Acharya (34) R/o Thalippady Ikala village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 04/02/2008 at 1830 hrs on Kinnigoli-Haleyangady road at Haleyangady village Mangalore Taluk one Dayananda driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-Z-9 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7818. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Mohammed Ismail (42) R/o Thokuru village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Uppinangady Police Station. On 04/02/2008 at 1650 hrs on NH-48 at Nekkilady village Puttur Taluk one Kushalappa driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-D-385 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Salma R/o Nekkilady village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 04/02/2008 at 2100 hrs accused one Nowshad criminally retained Prasad (19) R/o Gurithota Mangalore and his friend Kiran at Barke junction Mangalore and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 05/02/2008 in between 0800 hrs and 1000 hrs one Gopalakrishna Naik (38) R/o Nekkare Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
