• A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 14/02/2008 at 0930 hrs and 15/02/2008 at 0930 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sharavu Temple near old bus stand at Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of a Silver idol of Ganapathi, 4 Silver idols of Guliga and Bronze Pooja articles. The total value of property seized is yet to be estimated.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/02/2008 in between 1900 hrs and 2100 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MH-17-W-990 belonging to one Vishwanatha Shetty (29) R/o Icchala Kavala Padoor village Belthangady Taluk that was parked at Kavalakatte Kavala Padoor village Belthangady Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 15/02/2008 at 2110 hrs at Kapikadu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Sarfuddin rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-60-480 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2333. As a result Sarfuddin motorcycle rider, Jaleel pillion rider of said motorcycle, Yathiraj driver of auto rickshaw and Rajesh (21) R/o Kujumagadde Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 1430 hrs at Kemmara Herebandady village Puttur Taluk one Aboobakkar Siddique driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-D-6786 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which due which jeep capsized. As a result Abdul Khaleel (20) R/o Puttur Town and other 4 passengers who were traveling in the said jeep sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 1700 hrs at Palike Mani village Bantwal Taluk one Shashidhara rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-7510 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Shashidhara rider of motorcycle and Srinivasa pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 15/02/2008 at 1300 hrs at Puttur Town one Achutha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2328 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result Jagadisha (20) R/o Ballamajalu Peraje village Bantwal Taluk rider of bicycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Hurt has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 1530 hrs accused one Bhaskara Achari assaulted one Sabu (31) R/o Navale Hathyadka village Belthangady Taluk with sickle near his house owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 15/11/2007 at 1900 hrs one Harsha Bhat (55) R/o Ankola Uttara Kannada district committed suicide by consuming pesticide in his room at Hotel Poonja International Mangalore.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 15/02/2008 at 1930 hrs one Shekara (35) R/o Mudipu village Bantwal Taluk accidentally fell down while walking near his house. Further he was admitted to K.S. hospital at Deralakatte Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 2015. The death seems to be due some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Venoor Police Station. One Venkappa (20) R/o Mujjamoola Kukkippady village Bantwal Taluk left his house on 10/02/2008 at 1900 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
