- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 11/02/2008 at 1000 hrs near Lalbagh Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-14-5797 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9984 driven by one Shaji Elias R/o Mangalore. As a result Omni car got damaged. No casualities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 10/02/2008 at 1900 hrs in front of A. J. hospital at Mangalore one unknown driver of car drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-07-BE-4551. As a result motorcycle rider one Rey Jackson (22) C/o City College Hostel Shakthinagara Mangalore sustained grievous injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 10/02/2008 at 1715 hrs on NH 17 at Pavanje village Mangalore Taluk one Abdul Rahiman driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2505 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9077. As a result Praveen (27) R/o Kilpady village Mangalore Taluk motorcycle rider and Sandeep Karkera pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 11/02/2008 at 0730 hrs while Umesha K. @ Ramesha was unloading the Marbles from the lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-9745 at Neerkaje Kepu village Bantwal Taluk accused one Jaganatha Shetty driver of the said lorry moved the lorry negligently due which marbles fell over Umesha and sustained grievous injures.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 11/02/2008 at 0900 hrs one Marappa Poojary (60) R/o Surala Panjikallu village Bantwal Taluk accidentally fell down from the tree while cutting branches of the tree and got seriously injured. Further he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on same day at 1650 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 11/02/2008 at 1600 hrs one Thirthaprakash (35) R/o Dabbadka Balembi village Madikeri Taluk Kodagu District committed suicide by jumping into Payaswini river at Nagapattana Aletti village Sullia Taluk owing to health problem and died due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 10/02/2008 at 2030 hrs one Rajeshwari (20) R/o Kambudadka Maruvady Belalu village Belthangady Taluk accidentally fell down while walking in her house and got injuires. Further she was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where she declared dead while under treatment on 11/02/2008 at 0200. The death seems to be due some illness.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Konaje Police Station. One Ayeesha (19) D/o Abdul Hameed R/o Navagrama Site Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk left her house on 11/02/2008 at 1000 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
