Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Uppinangady Station. On the intervening night of 07-08/02/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MN-2222 belonging to one Rajesh K.A. (38) R/o Kunnatha house Siradi village Puttur Taluk that was parked in the premise of his house.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Outraging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 07/02/2008 at 2400 hrs accused Ali, Rayeel, Ramiz, Ramla, Basheer, Shaleel and Fayaz came in 4 motorcycles and stopped a jeep at Nekkare Alankaru village Puttur Taluk and outraged the modest of one Fathima (17) R/o Perabe village Puttur Taluk by pulling her hand and also gave threat to her.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 08/02/2008 at 1600 hrs at Sentiyaru Ariyapu village Puttur Taluk one Dojappa D’Souza driver of lorry baring Reg. No. KA-19-A-6662 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-7160. As a result one Bipin rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries and he was admitted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 07/02/2008 at 1000 hrs at Panjimogaru Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2975 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-0897. As a result Natesha rider of motorcycle and Reshma (19) R/o Kodikal Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 05/02/2008 at 1030 hrs on Moodabire - Sacharepete road at Moodabidre Mangalore one Purandara Acharya driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6834 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-7737. As a result Rathnakara rider of motorcycle and Prakasha pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 07/02/2008 at 2000 hrs at Nettana Bilinele village Puttut Taluk one Aruna driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6646 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CNO-5108 driven by one Kannan G. (29) R/o CRC colony Aivathooru village Puttur Taluk. As a result Sathish Kumar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/02/2008 at 1330 Alfaz and other three persons criminally restrained one Roshan Ramesh Rao (17) R/o Jeppu Mangalore near Bavutagudde at Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand. They also assaulted one Prajwal by hand owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/02/2008 at 1330 Deepak, Roshan, Sunil and Prajwal criminally restrained one Alfaz (21) R/o lower carstreet Mangalore near Bavutagudde at Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/02/2008 at 2130 hrs at Udane Town Shiradi village Puttur Taluk accused one Sundra Gowda abused one Pramod Kumar Rai (42) R/o Rekya village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. In between 06/02/2008 and 08/02/2008 at 1700 hrs one Yelloji Rao (60) R/o Bangalore was found dead his room at Srinikethana Lodge at Subramanya village Sullia Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.
