  • A case of Ordinary theft has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 10/02/2008 at 1900 hrs and 11/02/2008 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits mmitted theft of a cow belonging to one Yusuf M.K (26) R/o Ira village Bantwal Taluk from his house. The value of cow worth Rs. 4000/.

  • A case under Cruelty by husband and relatives, Hurt along Wrongful confinement has been registered in Subramanya Police Station on the complaint of one Samitha Nayak (38) W/o Jaganantha Nayak N. R/o near Junior College at Subramanya village Sullia Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Jaganantha Nayak N. (husband) and relatives Madhava Nayak and Mamatha Nayak gave physical and mental harassment to Samitha Nayak to bring more dowry and also assaulted her by hand.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 12/02/2008 at 0900 hrs near Srinivas College at Pandeshwara Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-8961 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Gayathri (22) R/o Bantwal Town a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 12/02/2008 at 1815 hrs on NH 17 near K.P.T. junction at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8388 drove his in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6356. As a result Activa Honda scooter rider Jaya and Veena (40) R/o Kavoor Mangalore pillion rider said Activa Honda scooter sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 12/02/2008 at 1630 on Kavoor Bajpe road at Marakada village Mangalore Taluk one Sheshappa driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5228 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-4052. As a result car driver one Krishnan Vajunnavar M. R/o Kadri Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Station. On 11/02/2008 at 2100 hrs at Bambila Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk one Hasainar driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-3950 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Compound wall due which car driver lost control over his vehicle due which car capsized. As a result one Haris who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/02/2008 at 1520 hrs near Sri Rama Bhajana Mandira at Halepete Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Satheesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-9622 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Satheesh rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/02/2008 at 1500 hrs one Praveen (23) accidentally fell down while working in building at Maddadka Kattadabail Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk. Further he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 1700 hrs.

Missing Persons: 01

  • A case of Man missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Yogish Acharya (24) R/o Kanarpa Kadirudyavara village Belthangady Taluk who went to work at Belthangady on 12/02/2008 and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
