• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 1615 hrs on NH 17 at Kallapu Permunnur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. CNG-1731 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider Irfan (15) R/o Permunnur village Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider of said bicycle his brother sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 1230 hrs at Ullas Nagara Marakada village Mangalore Taluk one Doddappa driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KL-07E-8037 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-851. As a result Abdul Kashim (46) R/o Belma village Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 2245 hrs at Kallucharpe Aletti village Sullia Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-31-A-3123 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Mini lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-556. As a result driver of Mini lorry Ganesh Prasad (24) R/o Delampady village Kasaragod Kerala State and other 4 passengers who were traveling in the said Mini lorry sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 0630 hrs at Charmady village Belthanagady Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-17-F-891 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3963. As a result Rangappa B.S (42) R/o Palthady Belthangady Taluk driver of Tanker, Shivanna cleaner of said Tanker and driver of KSRTC bus also sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 24/02/2008 at 1200 hrs accused Vasantha abused his father one Medappa (55) R/o Narpa Devachalla village Sullia Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute.
  
• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 1530 hrs accused one Lingappa Rai abused one Sheshappa Rai B. M. (54) R/o Mithodi Kedambady village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with sickle. The motive seems to be that one Sheshappa Rai had earlier lodged a complaint against accused Lingappa Rai in Puttur Rural PS.
  
• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 2045 hrs at auto rickshaw stand at Guruvayanakere Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk accused Sathish, Sanath and Prashanth came in a Maruti omini car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-333 and abused one Gopala (24) R/o Guruvanakere Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 22/02/2008 and 25/02/2008 at 2230 hrs Booba Gowda (40) R/o Ganeshnagara Ganjimatta Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to financial issue.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 0900 hrs one Baby T.T. (47) R/o Nettana Belinele village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming acid in his house owing to health problem.
