• A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 26/02/2008 in between 0830 hrs and 2100 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Therasa Pinto (54) R/o Lobo Prabhu Apartment Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 25, 000 all in worth Rs. 3,25,000/.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 23/02/2008 in between 1900 hrs and 2130 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-47-E-8981 belonging to one Mohammed Yasir Rukundeen (20) R/o Bhatkal District that was parked at parking place of Karavali Maidan at Lalbagh Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 35,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 26/02/2008 at 1215 hrs near Railway Station at Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1127 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-2925. As a result Kinetic Honda scooter rider Kusuma Shettigara R/o Bejai Kapikad Mangalore and Anasuya pillion rider of said Kinetic Honda scooter sustained simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 21/02/2008 at 1130 hrs one Fairoj Pasha driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-16-A-2881 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Shankara Vittala Building at Attavara Mangalore. As a result Building got damaged. No causalities reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 27/02/2008 at 0630 hrs at Kulai Mangalore one Babu Naik rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2903 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Idinabba R/o Vidyanagara Kulai Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 26/02/2008 at 1915 hrs near Vijaya Vittala Bhajana Mandira at Bajpe Mangalore accused Ashoka, Ganesh, Rakesh @ Dinesha and Sharatha criminally restrained one Ashraf (26) R/o Pakshikere Kapikad Atthur village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 19/02/2008 at 1400 hrs one Naveen Chandra R/o Kulashekara Maroli Mangalore accidentally consumed poison in his house. Further he was admitted to Coloco hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on the 26.02.2008 at 1730 hrs.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 25/02/2008 at 1230 hrs one Ashish (17) R/o Monkey stand Mangalore went Aloysius College at Mangalore and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
