- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 13/02/2008 at 0930 hrs at Sambarathota Pajiru village Bantwal Taluk accused Bore Gowda, Ere Gowda, Rajesha and Shivananda abused one Babylatha @ Narmada (29) W/o Bore Gowda R/o Munduguthu Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and also gave life threat to her owing to family dispute.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 2015 hrs at Sunkadakatte Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Purandara Bangera (36) R/o Kirambady Puduperara village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Purandara Bangera was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 2120 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 1230 hrs at Boluru Mangalore one Sanjeeva driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6034 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-4423. As a result Activa Honda scooter rider one Hemanth sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 13/02/2008 at 1730 hrs at Ballalbhag Mangalore one unknown Nova scooter rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Johara (37) R/o Panambur Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The Nova scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Ullal Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 0930 hrs at Pandithhouse Thokkuttu Mangalore one Leela (60) R/o Pilaru Darandabagilu Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6161 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 13/02/2008 at 2300 hrs on Guruvanakere road at Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk one Jobish rider motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-314 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Spark scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6791. As a result one Sharif rider of Kinetic Spark scooter sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 13/02/2008 at 1130 hrs at Shanthiyangady Bantwal Town one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1079 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another car bearing Reg. No. MYH-6652. As a result Hameed driver of car bearing Reg. No. MYH-6652 and Koosappa who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 1800 hrs at Aranthodu Sullia Town accused one Mahesha K. (38) R/o Kutthemotte Thodikana village Sullia Taluk abused one Narayana M. (30) R/o Manimunda Thodikana village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod owing to trivial issue.

On 14/02/2008 at 0930 hrs on credible information PSI Belthangady PS along with staff conducted a raid on small shed belonging to one Vasantha Bhat R/o Hosamane Kudradka Machina village Belthangady Taluk and seized a Local Made Gun (SBML) that was kept illegally there. One Vasantha Bhat the owner has been arrested.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 14/02/2007 at 0700 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 25 to 27 yrs was found at Meenakaliya Baikampady Mangalore. It seems to be a case of suicide by hanging.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/02/2008 at 1200 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 35 yrs was found in Nandini river at Murathagundi Kondamoola village Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of drowning.
