- A case of Robbery has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 30/06/2008 at 1130 hrs on M.R. Bhat Lane road at Jeppu Mangalore, one Sumithra (65) R/o M.R. Bhat Lane road Jeppu Mangalore was on her way to home. At that time, accused one unknown person aged about 20 yrs to 25 yrs came near her and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The value of property is around Rs.35, 000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 20/06/2008 at 2100 hrs at Ambikanagra junction Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammad Azeem rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-V-69 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Seetharama Poojary (58) R/o Ambikanagara Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 29/06/2008 at 1900 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 29/06/2008 at 1500 hrs at Kinnikambla Kadhavara village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5336 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost his control over the vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Lakshmi (20) R/o Kinnikambla Kanhavara village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 30/06/2008 at 0830 hrs accused one Selin Sequera R/o Pangalai Parladka village Puttur Taluk criminally restrained one Mathais Miranda (39) R/o Pangalai Parladka village Puttur Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute.

On 30/06/2008 at 1800 hrs on credible information PSI Vittal PS along with staff conducted a raid at Kodangai Vittalpadnoor village Bantwal Taluk and seized 21 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 750/ and cash Rs. 280/ by arresting Aithappa Poojary (38) R/o Yettukallu Vittalpadnoor village Bantwal Town who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 30/06/2008 one Jemmy Vidura R/o St. Joseph Nagara Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to financial problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 29/06/2008 at 1900 hrs and 30/06/2008 at 0900 hrs one Krishnayya Golla (60) R/o Muragoli Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
