- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On the intervening night of 22-23/07/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Goods Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7361 belonging to one Ummarabba (35) R/o Parari Thiruvail village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the premises of his house. The Goods Tempo is worth Rs. 1,60,000/.

On 29/07/2008 at 1700 hrs near bus stand at Kinnigoli village Mangalore Taluk accused Venkanna (31) R/o Kolnadu Mulki Mangalore and Kishore Kumar (32) R/o Kolnadu Mulki Mangalore abused one Prema Woman Police Constable Mulki Police Station in filthy language and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 28/07/2008 at 1630 hrs at Kenchanakere Kilpady village Mangalore Taluk one Raju driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-153 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-47-670. As a result Maruti Omni car driver Saiman Shantha Louis (26) R/o Bhatkal Taluk Karawara District, Rama, Asha and Prathima who were traveling in the said Maruti Omni car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 28/07/2008 at 2200 hrs in front of Narayana Guru Mandira at Haleyangady village Mangalore Taluk one Subbanna driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-6825 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a jeep bearing Reg. No. CTX-1185. As a result one Shivasharana (24) R/o Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk driver of said jeep sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 28/07/2008 at 1710 hrs at Daddy cross Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk one Udaya driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-MC-4 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abhijith (08) R/o Badaga Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 28/07/2008 at 1500 hrs accused one Gafoor driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6992 stopped a jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4449 driven by Dayananda (23) R/o Ramakunja village Puttur Taluk near bus stand at Koila village Puttur Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 29/07/2008 at 1230 hrs accused Chethan and Priya criminally retrained one Nanda Ballal R/o Kulkunda Subramanya village Belthangady Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 29/07/2008 at 1730 hrs on credible information PSI Uppinangady along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Panekallu Bandaru village Puttur Taluk and seized 24 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 900/ by arresting Adappa (44) and Mancha Mugera (40) who were selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 27/07/2008 at 0730 hrs and 29/07/2008 at 1015 hrs one Suresha M. R/o Payyanoor Kerala State committed suicide by hanging in his room at East Coast lodge M.G. road Mangalore owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 28/07/2008 at 1800 hrs and 29/07/2008 at 0815 hrs one Santhosh (30) R/o Kerala State accidentally slipped into the Sampaje river while taking bath at Sampaje village Sullia Taluk and died due drawing.
