- A case of Burglary has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 11/07/2008 at 2300 hrs and 12/07/2008 at 0500 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one George D Souza (45) R/o Permude village Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 20,000/ all in worth Rs. 80, 000/.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 12/07/2008 at 1010 hrs accused one Devaraj abused his wife one Bharathi (27) R/o Hoohakuva Kallu Balepuni Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and also gave life threat to her owing to family dispute between them.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station where in one Hanumanthappa (60) R/o K.C. Road Talapady village Mangalore was declared dead while under treatment on 12/07/2008 at 1115 hrs. The said Hanumanthappa sustained seriously injured by a bus in a road traffic accident on 07/07/2008 at 2000 hrs near K.C. Road Talapady village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Ullal Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 12/07/2008 at 1930 hrs at Lalbagh Mangalore one Mithun rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1827 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-6377. As a result one Amul V. Kamath (28) R/o Boluru Mangalore rider motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-v-6377 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 02/07/2008 at 1745 hrs at Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Sunil rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-3147 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rama Purusha (65) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-19-Q-1708 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-4234. As a result one Prashanth Shetty (36) R/o Kondaana Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk rider motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-4234 sustained simple injuries.

On 12/07/2008 at 1015 hrs at Deralakatte Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk one Ansaf driver of Maruti alto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-5185 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2575 from behind. As a result Shashidhara (26) R/o Kumpala Someshwara Taluk Mangalore Taluk driver of auto rickshaw and Arun Bhandary who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 12/07/2008 at 0915 hrs Thokkuttu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-9777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break due which one Mohammed Shafiq (15) who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 12/07/2008 at 0805 hrs on NH 17 at Panambur Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-23-C-28 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus from behind. As a result one Bharath (27) R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore who was traveling the said bus sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-B-2032 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-7138. As a result scooter rider one Gopala Achary and pillion rider Rathnavathi (60) R/o Pandith house Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

As a result Honda Activa scooter rider one Lokesh (35) R/o Kankanady Mangalore sustained simple injuries

On 11/07/2008 at 1830 hrs at Balkunje-Palimaar road Mulki Mangalore one Sirajuddin driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7740 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Babu Mukhari R/o Balkunje Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 07/07/2008 at 0800 hrs accused one Kamala criminally trespassed into house belonging to one Sangeetha (27) R/o Montepadavu Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Sangeetha and accused person.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 09/07/2008 one Rohinatha (24) who was working in Vridavana hotel at Circuit house Mangalore attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his room owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 10/07/2008 at 1805 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 10/07/2008 at 0730 hrs one George Elias D’ Souza (56) R/o Kudumbur Baikampady Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to financial problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 07/07/2008 at 1100 hrs one Babu (35) R/o Mogaveerapatna Ullal Mangalore accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconut and got seriously injured near his house. Further he was admitted to the Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on 09/07/2008 at 0820 hrs.
