- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/07/2008 in between 2100 hrs and 2230 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7177 belonging to one Srikara Kini (54) R/o Ullal Mangalore that was parked near Govt. Woman’s college at Balmatta Mangalore. The car is worth Rs. 47,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 03/07/2008 at 1800 hrs at Battakodi Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk one Mohandas driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7682 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-29-H-7977. Further auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Sadashiva Achary (47), Ramesh Acharya (22) R/o Thokur village Mangalore Taluk and Purushotama who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained serious injuries. Where in one Sadashiva Achary succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/07/2008 at 0810 hrs in front of Ashirwad hotel at Kulashekara Mangalore one Harish rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-01-R-8246 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jerald D Silva (55) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Harish rider of said motorcycle also sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 03/07/2008 at 0730 hrs at Santyaru Aryapu village Puttur Taluk one Hyder driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7340 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-7705. As a result Abdul Razak R/o Thalipadpu Bantwal Town driver of car and Riyaz Ahammed who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/07/2008 at 1830 hrs at Gangrau Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one Ravi driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5607 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Dileep (19) R/o Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk, Sadananda and Jagadeesh who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 03/07/2008 at 1900 hrs at Nidgal Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk one Abdul Hameed driver of auto tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9068 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto tempo capsized. As a result one Shafeer Ahammad (36) R/o Mudigere Chikkmagaluru District who was traveling in the said auto tempo sustained simple injuries.

On 03/07/2008 at 1000 hrs accused Farooq M.T, Abbusali and Hamza criminally retrained one Mohammed Haneef (26) R/o Hosaladka Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk near Durga Complex at Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to previous enmity.

On 03/07/2008 at 1330 hrs accused one Pushparaja criminally retrained one Ananda Poojary (50) R/o Bantwal Town at Baddakatte Bantwal Town and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stone owing to trivial issue.
