On the intervening night of 01-06/07/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into arecanut Godown belonging to one Vijaya Kumar Shetty (38) at Centre Chember road Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of 2 bags of arecanut and 2 bags of Pepper. - A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/07/2008 at 1510 hrs at Kankanady Mangalore one Rajesh driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5090 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Vinod who traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 07/07/2008 at 2115 hrs on Deralakatte - Asaigoli road at Konaje Mangalore one Yahyya driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8907 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-3548. As a result Abdulla (26) R/o Peruvai village Bantwal Taluk rider of scooter and Ismail pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
