- A case of Robbery has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 09/07/2008 at 2100 hrs accused 4 unknown persons stopped one Aneesh Kumar (24) R/o Maneel Kemminje village Puttur Taluk at CTO gudde Puttur Town and assaulted him with knife and they also robbed Rs. 250/ from his pocket.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 10-11/06/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-37-M-3000 belonging to one Sathish (26) R/o Adangula Sagar Taluk that was parked in front of Sharawathi lodge at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk. The Omni car is worth Rs. 40,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Poilce Station. On 04/07/2008 at 1415 hrs near Shahajan Hotel at Casaba Bengere Mangalore one Muneer rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2298 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one D Souza @ Victor D Souza a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he died on the way to hospital. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

Collage at Hampankatta Mangalore one Deepak rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-522 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Pushpa (66) R/o Attavara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 09/07/2008 at 2030 hrs at Hoige bazaar Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7059 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-C-8151 driven by one Saleem (36) R/o Ullal Mangalore. As a result Saleem rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 09/07/2008 at 1115 hrs on NH 13 at Marigudi Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-3629 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8562. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Manohar (27) R/o Marpadi Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-16-A-6784 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3618. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Sundara R/o Kalai Amtadi village Bantwal Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 07/07/2008 at 2030 hrs accused Hameed U, Anwar, Hamad Bawa, Asif and Ashraf G.A forming into an unlawful assembly at Addooru junction at Bajpe Mangalore Taluk stopped one Mohammad G. A ((28) R/o Addooru Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand. The motive seems to be personal enmity between Mohammad G.A and the accused persons.

On 07/07/2008 at 1430 hrs at Adiyaru Thotathadi Belthangady Taluk accused Anthony M. J, Peter and Anitha abused one Paulos M. J (41) R/o Adiyaru Thotathadi Belthangady Taluk and his wife Alphonsa in filthy language near their house and assaulted them with wooden stick owing to civil dispute between Paulos M.J and the accused persons.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 09/07/2008 one unknown male dead body aged about 40 yrs to 50 yrs was found near Indian Medical Association building at Hampankatta Mangalore. The death seems to be due some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 07/07/2008 at 1100 hrs one Babu (35) accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconuts and got seriously injured. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 09/07/2008 at 0820 hrs.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. One Sayikrishna (17) student of Philomina boys hostel Darbe Puttur who left his hostel on 09/07/2008 at 0430 and did not return to his hostel there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. One Ananda Kumar (30) R/o Kadepala Sampaje village Sullia Taluk left his hostel on 11/06/2008 did not return to his house after. He has been found missing since then.
