- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/07/2008 in between 1230 hrs and 1530 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj CT-100 motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-5035 belonging to one Ganesh B. (35) R/o Pinto's Lane Mangalore that was parked near N.G.O. Hall at Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/07/2008 at 1900 hrs near Uchila-Ajjanadka cross at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Raju driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6717 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a tree. As a result Anni M.K. who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/07/2008 at 1515 hrs near Thokkuttu at Mangalore one Suresh (30) R/o Kasragod District Kerala State driver of Echier Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3924 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an electric pole due which electric pole got damaged. No casualty reported.

(28) R/o Alankaru village Puttur Taluk at Alankaru Town Alankaru village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with Helmate and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 12/07/2008 at 1900 hrs accused James M.J. @ Charley, Manoj and Thomas criminally retrained one Joseph N.J. (54) R/o Munnadka Kutturpady village Puttur Taluk near his house and assaulted him by hand owing to personal enmity.

On 13/07/2008 at 1100 hrs accused Mohammed Shafee, Irafan and Falool criminally retrained one Ibarahim R/o Nooyee Adduru village Mangalore Taluk at Maripalla Sujeer Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and abused him filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 13/07/2008 at 1645 hrs on credible information PSI Uppinangady PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place near Beliyur junction at Beliyur village Bantwal Taluk and seized 32 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) and cash Rs. 375/ all in worth Rs.1, 000/ by arresting Ramesh (30), Umesha (30), Ravindra Poojary (35) and Dejappa Poojary (27) who were selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
