On 28/07/2008 at 1630 hrs on credible information PSI (Crime) Ullal PS along with his staff intercepted a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. GJ-3-BA-303 at Sankolige Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk and seized 37 Boxes of liquor bottles (each 180 ML) transported illegally. However accused Santhosh and other one person managed to escape from the place. The Scorpio car has also been seized. Total worth of illegal liquor bottles seized is Rs. 50, 000/ and value of Scorpio car is Rs. 6,00,000/.
In this connection, a case has been registered in Ullal PS under Karnataka Excise Act.
