- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 25/07/2008 at 1630 hrs in front of Alukas Jewellary at Hampankatta Mangalore one unknown rider of Kinetic Honda bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-5100 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sheik Asif (22) R/o Kavalkatte Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The Kinetic Honda rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 25/07/2008 at 2000 hrs at Padil Mangalore one Siddique rider of Yamaha motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-5657 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Julika (50) R/o Shanthi nagar Bajal Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 24/07/2008 at 2200 hrs on NH 48 at Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk one Jayyappa driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-27-A-1228 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-36-A-8838 driven by one Nanjesh Gowda N H (40) R/o Kathehalli Hasssan District. As a result both vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 26/07/2008 at 1730 hrs at Thumbe Junction Bantwal Taluk one unknown driver of Ford Ikon car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MH-7375 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8039 driven by one Praveen R/o Ramalkatte Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk. As a result the auto rickshaw got damaged. No causalities reported. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 25/07/2008 at 1315 hrs at Patte cross Yelinje village Mangalore Taluk one Ibrahim Desai driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-49-770 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8374 and Mini door Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4827. As a result Cypriyan Martis (42) driver of car sustained simple injuries. All three vehicles got damaged.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Melwyn Lancelot Sequeira (36) R/o Flat no 802 Presidency Enclave Bendoorwell Mangalore left his house on 26/07/2008 at 1630 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 18/07/2008 one Reema Sharoon (17) C/o Indira Mess Hostel Ujire Belthangady Taluk went to SDM College at Ujire Belthangady Taluk and did not return her hostel there after. She has been found missing since then.
