- A case under Hurt, Cruelty by Husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Urwa Police Station on the complaint of one Asha Kiran V. (34) W/o Sandeep Kundar R/o Bejai Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Sandeep Kundar (husband) R/o Daddalkad Ashokanagara Mangalore gave physical and mental harassment to Asha Kiran V. to bring more dowry and he also gave life threat to him.
- A case under Hurt has been along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 18/07/2008 at 1500 hrs at Dhompadapalke Kodambettu village Bantwal Taluk accused Lokayya Poojary abused one Savithri (15) R/o Dhompadapalke Kodambettu village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language referring to his caste and also gave life assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 18/07/2008 at 1600 hrs near Vishwa Bhavan at K. S. Rao Road Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sandeep R. (38) R/o Jeppu Market Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 19/07/2008 at 2105 hrs at Hampankatta Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-700 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Mahindra Logon car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-4966. As a result the car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 19/07/2008 at 0715 hrs at Charanthipete Mulki Mangalore one Ramlan driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result one Neelayya rider of bicycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 18/07/2008 at 2300 hrs one Prem Kumar R/o Amaramudnur village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison in his house owing to personal problem.
