On 22/05/2008 in between 1030 hrs and 1100 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-6625 belonging to one Srikantha (37) R/o Bolur Mangalore that was parked in front of Kalpana Sweets at Central Market Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

On 03/07/2008 at 1900 hrs accused Lokesha, Sadananda Poojary, Rajesh Devadiga, Janardhana Achary and Shubhakara Poojary forming into an unlawful assembly near Govt. school at Kudyady village Belthangady Taluk and abused one Lingappa Poojary R/o Kudyady village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Lingappa Bangera and accused persons.

On 04/07/2008 at 1800 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Town PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Jarandagudde Kallige village Bantwal Taluk and seized 27 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 755/ by arresting one Ashoka (27) R/o Kallige village Bantwal Tauk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
