- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/07/2008 at 2330 hrs near Pintos Lane Balmatta Mangalore one Rahul Shenoy rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-6827 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a Compound wall due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Rahul Shenoy sustained serious injuries and admitted to the Yenopoya hospital at Mangalore. Where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 03/07/2008 at 0300 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 02/07/2008 at 1300 in front of Ganesh Beedi Factory Lalbagh Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-46-M-6688 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-6601driven by one Chandrahasa M (47) R/o Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 01/07/2008 at 1200 hrs on NH 17 at Padupanambur village Mangalore Taluk one Venkanna driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. Ka-22-A-9849 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the lorry capsized. As a result Venkatesh @ Venkappa cleaner of said lorry sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 01/07/2008 at 0830 hrs at Kanchila Sajipanadu village Bantwal Taluk one Jaya Bangera rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3733 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-P-8284. As a result Suresh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 02/07/2008 at 1615 hrs accused Umesh and 07 other unknown persons came in Maruti Omni car forming into an unlawful assembly Manihalla Navoor village Bantwal Taluk and abused one Kushala (24) R/o Kotipalu Navoor village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 01/07/2007 at 1600 hrs one Devasya (85) R/o Kuthrijalu Neriya Village Belthangady Taluk accidentally slipped into the river near his house while walking and died due drowning.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. One Ravi (35) R/o Kallapane Subramanya village Sullia Taluk Taluk left his house on 02/06/2008 and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
