In between 2330 hrs of 30/05/2009 and 0300 hrs of 31/05/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Nafisa (29) R/o Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments worth Rs.41, 0 00/.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace along with Hurt has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 30/05/2009 at 2230 hrs accused Vijaya Kumar and Udaya Kumar both residents of Ashokanagara Mangalore criminally restrained one Rathna (45) R/o near Dominic Church compound Ashokanagara Mangalore near her house and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand owing to family dispute between them.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/05/2009 at 1400 hrs near Hero Honda showroom at Ballabag Mangalore one driver of Quails car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MC-848 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-03-EE-7704. As a result one Muralidhara Kamath (65) R/o 1st cross Karangalapady Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 31/05/2009 at 1800 hrs at Abbamjara Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Padmanbha driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3475 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-6691 driven by one Mithun (29) R/o Ullal bailu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. As a result Dinesh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. Further Tempo driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against Ramesh a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 30/05/2009 at 1900 hrs at Mudipu junction Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk one Haris rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-2734 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Purushotham (38) R/o Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Haris and Nasir pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 30/05/2009 at 1030 hrs at Kadabettu cross Bantwal Town one Madhava Bhat driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-2279 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5365. As a result auto rickshaw driver Chittharanjith (25) R/o Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk and Samrud who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 30/05/2009 at 2300 hrs near Kukkaje cross at Kuthlur village Belthangady Taluk one Suresh driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-5657 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a tree. As a result jeep driver Suresh, Vittal Shetty (58) R/o Koppa Taluk Chikkamagalur District, Kanthappa Shetty and Susheela who were traveling in the said jeep sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 30/05/2009 at 2000 hrs at Kalloni Bellare village Sullia Taluk one Prasad driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5339 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Shashidhara (38) R/o Bellare village Sullia Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 31/05/2009 at 1500 hrs near Naithangady at 4 th block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk accused Ashok, Sandesh and Neethu @ Nithesh stopped the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1365 and abused the driver of said bus one Mansoor (30) R/o Surathkal Mangalore in filthy language and damaged the bus by pelting stones and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidri Police Station. On 30/05/2009 at 1145 hrs accused Punith (20), Ashwin and Vinyas abused one Ajayakumar (25) R/o Hamsa Nagara Putthige village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 01/06/2009 at 0430 hrs one dead body of Abdul Sharuk R/o Surathkal Mangalore was found near Light House at Surathkal Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 31/05/2009 at 0430 hrs one Kunhi Naik (70) R/o Nettanige Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison owing to health problem.
