• A case under M.V. Theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 1800 hrs and 1930 hrs of 31/05/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-2436 belonging to one Rithesh D Silva (23) R/o Derebail Konchady Mangalore that was parked near Panambur Beach at Panambur Mangalore. The worth of motorcycle is Rs. 20,000/.

• A case under M.V. Theft has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 2030 hrs and 2100 hrs of 28/05/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-6082 belonging to one Gangadhara K. (49) R/o Nekkilu Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk that was parked in front of Prashanth Hotel at Darbe Puttur Town. The worth of motorcycle is Rs. 22,000/.

• A case under House trespass, Outraging the modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 03/06/2009 at 1100 hrs accused one Dinesha criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Yasmeen (15) D/o Ibrahim R/o Hoo Hakuvakallu Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 03/06/2009 at 1230 hrs on Mardala-Kemrayee cross at Bantra village Puttur Taluk one Manjunatha driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2232 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8439. As a result auto rickshaw driver James, Selvendran and Jaya Laxmi who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained serious injuries. Further Jaya Laxmi succumbed to her injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/06/2009 at 1830 hrs in front of Kings Corner road at Bendoorwell Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-8639 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Rathnamma a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 02/06/2009 at 2100 hrs near Bhami English Medium school at Muloor village Mangalore Taluk one Ahammed Bhava rider of Active Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-5336 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ponnappa K R/o Vamanjoor Thiruvail village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 23/05/2009 at 2130 hrs near Beluvai Church at Moodabidre Mangalore one Manjunatha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-2173 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Mahesh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 02/06/2009 at 1745 hrs near Ujire junction at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-25-B-3267 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-2765.As a result motorcycle rider sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 27/05/2009 at 1700 hrs near KSRTC bus stand at Nelyady Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk one unknown driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-51-6705 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Raghava (53) R/o Donthila Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries. The unknown driver of Maruthi Omni car escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 03/06/2009 at 1900 hrs accused Rafeeq Mukkaru, Rafeeq M.S, Majeed Mukkaru, Muneer, Riyaz Savanoor, Shahir, Basheer and Haneef Savanoor forming into unlawful assembly near Savanoor Mosque at Savanoor village Puttur Taluk and criminally restrained one Dileep A. (21) R/o Ambala Chavarka village Puttur Taluk and assaulted him by hand and with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 03/06/2009 at 1100 hrs accused one Ahammed Haji criminally trespassed into the land at Balila Kalanja village Sullia Taluk belongings to one Poornachandra B. Shetty (49) R/o Bellare village Sullia Taluk and abused him in filthy language and damaged the land and also give life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 03/06/2009 at 1815 hrs accused one Mahabaleshwara Bhat (46) abused one Radhakrishna R/o Kanthila Balnadu village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to civil dispute between them.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 03/06/2009 at 1745 hrs accused one Radhakrishna abused one Mahabaleshwara Bhat (46) R/o Kanthila Balnadu village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.

On 23/05/2009 at 1500 hrs accused one Robert Thavro abused one Shankara R/o Kullanje Malady village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language near Kolpeda Bailu Malady village Belthangady Taluk and referring to his caste owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 03/06/2008 at 0330 hrs on credible information PSI Moodabidre PS along with staff intercepted a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-4810 at Moodabidre junction Mangalore and seized 35 Boxes of liquor worth Rs. 60,000/ from the Maruti Omni, which was being transported illegally. The said Maruti Omni car has also been seized. The total value of the seized property including the Maruti Omni car is around Rs. 1, 10,000/.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 03/06/2009 at 1300 hrs one dead body of Damodhara @ Dhananjaya (47) was found near pond at Barkori Alankaru village Puttur Taluk. The death seems to be due drowning.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 03/06/2009 and 0715 hrs of 04/06/2009 one Bhujanga (48) R/o Subhash Nagara Sajipa Bantwal Town committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to financial problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 03/06/2009 at 0800 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 25 yrs to 35 yrs was found near Break water at Panambur Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.
