• A case under M.V. Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 0600 hrs and 1340 hrs of 28/05/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-3737 belonging to one Rajendra T. (54) R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore that was parked at the parking place of Taj Mahal Hotel at Hampankatte Mangalore. The worth of motorcycle is Rs. 30,000/.

• A case under Hurt, attempt to Rape along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 01/06/2009 at 1545 hrs at Purusharakatte Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk accused one Manjunatha assaulted one Ashalatha (19) R/o Purusharakatte Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk and attempted to rape her and also gave life threat to her.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 31/05/2009 at 1300 hrs at Kavu Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk one Ibrahim Gonikoppa driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-12-8207 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-Z-3865. As a result Azeez Rahiman driver of said car, Joharunnisa, Afrin Thaj, Rafeeya and Imran who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 01/06/2009 at 1030 hrs at Capitanio Kankanady village Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-57-X-3274 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-8847. As a result Kinetic Honda scooter got damaged. No causalities reported.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 31/05/2009 at 1430 hrs at Thingalady Mundoor village Puttur Taluk one Nazeer driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-B-1203 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-U-5485. As a result scooter rider Udaya Kumar P (30) R/o Kuriya village Puttur Taluk and Gopalakrishna pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace, Hurt along with Attempt to murder has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 01/06/2009 at 1630 hrs accused one Abbas @ Basheer criminally trespassed into the premises of house belonging to one Mohideen P.K (46) R/o Ismail Nagara Kalladka Golthamajalu village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and attempted to kill him by assaulting with knife owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 28/05/2009 at 1230 hrs near Railway Station at Mangalore accused Francis Mathew, Dinesha, Babu and another one person stopped the Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-30-M-2234 and abused the driver of said car one Kumara K.T R/o Poilce Lane Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
  

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/06/2009 at 1115 hrs accused one Hamza (28) criminally restrained one Vijaya Kumar (39) R/o Ganesh Nagara Ullalbail Mangalore at Yenopoya Hospital main gate Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 31/05/2009 at 1700 hrs one Valerian (61) R/o Mucchur Badaga Yekkaru village Mangalore Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 31/05/2009 at 1700 hrs.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 31/05/2009 at 2200 hrs one Laveena Pinto (18) R/o Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in her house owing to personal problem. Further she was admitted to City Hospital at Mangalore where she declared dead while under treatment on 01/06/2009 at 0005 hrs.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 01/06/2009 at 0900 hrs one Narayani (70) accidentally slipped into Nethravathi River at Bolla Bajal village Mangalore Taluk while taking bath and died due to drowning.
