In between 1730 hrs of 11/06/2009 and 0930 hrs of 15/06/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Coleen Coloco (55) R/o Vaslane Balmatta Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of cash. The worth of stolen cash is yet too estimated.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 2130 hrs of 13/09/2009 and 0930 hrs of 15/06/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Laxmiprasad Rai (38) R/o Kasaba Puttur Town by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments. - A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 14/06/2009 at 1730 hrs at Paravarakotia Shirady village Puttur Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-03-X-1063 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2054. As a result KSRTC bus driver one Basavaraj Sapannavar (33) R/o Devalathi Khanapura Taluk Belgum District sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 13/06/2009 at 1045 hrs near Somatthadka cross at Mundaje village Belthangady Taluk one Rahiman driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9325 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which one Mohammed a passenger of said auto rickshaw was thrown out of the auto rickshaw and sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 15/06/2009 at 1800 hrs one unknown girl aged about 15-20 years accidentally slipped into Nethravathi River at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk while taking bath and died due to drowning.

In between 0830 hrs of 15/06/2009 and 0600 hrs of 16/06/2009 one Manjunatha Kalama Shetty (21) accidentally slipped into Nethravathi River at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk while taking bath and died due to drowning.
