- A case under M.V. Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 2100 hrs and 2135 hrs of 07/06/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Mahindra Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5349 belonging to one Ahamed Bhashir P.S R/o Panemangalore Bantwal Taluk that was parked near Danish bakery at Bendoorwell Mangalore. The worth of Jeep is Rs. 1, 00,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 08/06/2009 at 0645 hrs near Anegundi cross at Bejai Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3112 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly without giving signal due to which another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6535 which was behind the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3112 rammed to it from back. As a result Jacintha R/o Jyothinagar Kavoor Mangalore and Jasmine who were traveling in the bus bearing Reg. No.KA-19-A-3112 sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-N-4039 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1649. As a result one Augustine Monthero (67) R/o Patla Permannuru village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 22/05/2009 at 0430 hrs on NH 17 at Kallapu Permannuru village Mangalore Taluk one Umesha B driver of Tempo Traveler bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-0393 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an electric pole. Further the tempo traveler driver lost control over the vehicle due which the vehicle capsized to a roadside ditch. As a result tempo traveler got damaged. No casualties reported.

On 08/06/2009 at 1415 hrs at Pottukere Dharegudde villge Mangalore Taluk one Suresh cleaner of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-969 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which the bus capsized. As a result Prem Kumar (42) R/o Kelaguthige Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk, his wife Sumathi and other passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 30/05/2009 at 1800 hrs one Anuradha (38) W/o Shashidhara R/o Mullottu Kemral village Mangalore Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light kerosene stove in her house. She was admitted to the Wenlock Hospital Mangalore and there while under treatment she succumbed to her injuries on 07/06/2009 at 2025 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 0900 hrs and 1230 hrs one Ramesh Poojary (45) R/o Ullanje Mennabettu village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
