• A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 23:00 hrs of 12/06/2009 and 0700 hrs of 13/06/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Dinesh Rai (40) R/o Ulall Guttu Permannru village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the window grill and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 6,400/ all in worth Rs. 76,400/.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 2130 hrs of 08/06/2009 and 0630 of 09/06/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8214 belonging to one Melroy Peter D’Souza (20) R/o Modankapu Amtady village Bantwal Taluk that was parked near his house. The total worth of motorcycle is 25,000/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station where in one unknown pedestrian aged about 65 year was declared dead while under treatment on 13/06/2009 at 0950 hrs. The said unknown persons was seriously injuries by a bus in a road traffic accident on 12/06/2009 at 1955 hrs on U.P. Mallya road in front of Town hall at Mangalore and admitted to hospital. In this connection a case has already been registered in Traffic East Police Station.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 11/06/2009 at 2315 hrs on Killur-Layeela road near Manjotti at Nada village Belthangady Taluk one Udaya rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-13-K-2734 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Dinesh pillion rider of said motorcycle thrown out of the motorcycle and sustained grievous injuries. Further he admitted to City hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 13/06/2009 at 12:30 hrs.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 13/06/2009 at 0905 hrs on SH 13 at Madanthyaru Malady village Belthangady Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-04-8162 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-9770. As a result one Abdul Tameem (22) rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 12/06/2009 at 2130 hrs near Kashiya garuge at Mangalore one Roshan Nazarath rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-4352 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-7900. As a result Avinash rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-7900, Lathish Kulal R/o Kankanady mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle and Roshan Nazarath rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-4352 sustained grievous injures.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 13/06/2009 at 1200 hrs near Hampankatte Singnal junction at Mangalore one Ganesha driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-D-5777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4866 from behind driven by one Dinesh Kumar (35) R/o Vamanjur Mangalore due to which Dinesh driver of bus lost control over his vehicle and rammed to another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1697 from front. As a result 6 passengers who were traveling in the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4866 and one passenger who were traveling in the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1697 sustained simple injures and all three vehicles got damaged.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 10/06/2009 at 0330 hrs at Asaigoli Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk one Jayajeevan driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-AB-2035 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control his vehicle due vehicle capsized. As a result Jayajeevan driver of lorry, Avinash (19) R/o Thirthahalli Shimogga District cleaner of said lorry and Dhanesh who was traveling in the said lorry sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Blethangady Police Station. On 12/06/2009 at 1800 hrs at Ujire Belthangady Taluk one Venkataramana Sharma rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-2571 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Babu Shetty a padestrain and caused him simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 11/06/2009 at 1445 hrs on Kokkada – Dharmastala road at Kerekanda Nidle village Belthangady Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MEG-5739 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-16-8821. As a result one Ravindra Kumar (28) R/o Kotage halli village K.R. Pete Taluk Madya District driver of lorry baring Reg. No. KA-16-8821 sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 11/06/2009 at 1300 hrs at Harady Puttur Town one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2208 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Electric poles due which Electric poles got damaged. No causalities reported.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 10/06/2009 at 1900 hrs on SH 48 at Subramanya cross Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk one Prameshwar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-K-444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Niranjan (25) R/o Periyadka house Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk a padestrain and caused him grievous injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Jinnappa Gowda pillion rider of said motorcycle also sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 12/06/2009 and 0730 hrs of 13/06/2009 one Belliyappp Gowda (43) R/o Marakada Dolpady village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/06/2009 at 0930 hrs one Jayathsena (28) R/o Nellambady Markanja village Sullia Taluk attempted to commit suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem. Further she admitted to Govt. hospital where she declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1100 hrs.
