A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/06/2009 at 1500 hrs on credible information PSI Ullal PS along with his staff conducted a raid on public place at Nadukumeru Kondana Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk and seized 07 cocks and cash Rs. 315/ by arresting Ravindra (48) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk, Bhoja Poojary (50) R/o Kondana Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk, Ullas (23) R/o Kondana Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk, Robert D’Souza (48) R/o Kinya village Mangalore Taluk and Lawrence Squira (47) R/o Chumbugudde Permannur village Mangalore Taluk who were indulged in betting on cock fighting.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Ullal PS U/s 87, 93 of the Karnataka Police Act.
