In between 2300 hrs of 04/08/2009 and 0600 hrs of 05/08/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Veerappa Gowda (51) R/o Nellibangaradka Sullia Town by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornaments and a mobile phone all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

On 01/09/2009 at 1500 hrs three unknown culprits came in an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5725 and committed a theft of a cow belonging to one Sadananda Gowda (27) R/o Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk for illegally transporting cow without any permit.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 01/09/2009 at 1145 hrs near Sulthan Battery at Mangalore one Nikesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-26 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Honda Activa bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-1477. As a result one Akash (15) R/o NMPT colony Panambur Mangalore pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-26 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 31/08/2009 at 2000 hrs near State bank at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-5547 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which one Damodhara (50) R/o Boloor Mangalore who was traveling in the said bus was fell down in the said bus and sustained simple injuries.

On 01/09/2009 at 1000 hrs at accused Marada Mutthu (44) R/o CRC colony Kawdicharu village Puttur Taluk criminally restrained and assaulted one Raju M R/o KFDC quarters Kaudicharu village Puttur Taluk Divisional officer of Karnataka Forest by sickle while he was on duty at Aivarnadu Rubber plant Kanyaru division owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 01/09/2009 one Gopala (34) R/o Niraya Siribagilu village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming pesticide in his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 31/08/2009 and 0930 hrs of 01/09/2009 one Appanna Naik committed suicide by hanging in the rented house at Paicharu Jalsoorvillage Sullia Taluk owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 01/09/2009 at 0845 hrs one Sulochana (20) R/o Kirimbi Badakodi village accidently slipped into a pond near her house while taking water and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 30/08/2009 one Mahammad R/o Mavinapalla Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk fell down due to some illness while walking near his house. Further he was admitted to the Govt.hospital at Sullia where he was declared dead while under treatment on 01/09/2009 at 0820 hrs.
