On the intervening night of 07-08/09/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mohammad Fayaz Pahad (30) R/o Vas lane Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Acer Aspire Laptop, a Rado watch, Gold ornaments and cash Rs. 5,000/ all in worth Rs 85,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 08/09/2009 at 1420 hrs at Kotekani Chilimbi Mangalore one Malthesha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No.KA-19-V-8980 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a M80 scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-4248. As a result M80 scooter rider one Vijendra and motorcycle rider one Mathesha sustained grievous injuries.
