  • A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Outraging modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 24/09/2009 at 1530 hrs accused Aruna Kumara and Jaya Poojary criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Sharada W/o Sadananda R/o Kallagundy Sajipamooda village Bantwal Taluk and abused her in filthy language and outraged her modesty by pulling her hair and assaulted her husband Sadananda with wooden stick and also gave life threat to her owing to civil dispute between them.

Fatal: 01

  • A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 25/09/2009 at 1300 hrs on Mani-Mysore road at Gadikallu Sampaje village Sullia Taluk one Vincent rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9684 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As result one Thirthakumar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further Thirthakumar was succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1830 hrs.

Non-Fatal: 02

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 26/09/2009 at 0815 hrs near Kallare at Puttur Town one Ganesha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7105 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-05-EZ-4462. As a result motorcycle rider Ramachandra Nayak and Rajesh Nayak (18) R/o Kallare Puttur Town pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 24/09/2009 at 1230 hrs near Gopalakrishna Temple at Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk one Khalandar driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3653 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruthi Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2161. As a result Maruthi Omni car driver Sheik Imran (26) R/o Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk and Amath Al Ahammed (08) who was traveling in the said Maruthi Omni car sustained simple injuries.

  • A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 24/09/2009 at 0800 hrs accused two unknown persons criminally restrained one Savoor Ahammed (25) R/o Bhatkal Uttara Kananda District at Kaikamba Mooduperara village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 26/09/2009 at 1030 hrs one Vincent Monthero (43) R/o Moodushedde Mangalore committed suicide by jumping in to the pond near his house owing to personal problem.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 26/09/2009 at 0800 hrs one dead body of Jaya Moolya (40) was found near pond at Dasarakodi Balthila village Bantwal Taluk. The death seems to be due drowning.

Missing Persons: 01

  • A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 24/09/2009 at 0815 hrs one Ocean D’ Souza (17) D/o Oswald D’ Souza R/o Marnamikatte Mangalore went to college and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since.
